About the Vestingbar

SERIOUSLY AMAZING FOR STUDENTS

The Vestingbar is the most sociable student bar in Enschede, located at the campus of the University of Twente. The bar is opened 6 days a week (Monday-Saturday) for both students and other visitors. Throughout the year we organize lots of (theme-)parties and are closely involved in big events like the Kick-In and the Batavierenrace. But most importantly, we are open for a beer with your friends!

The Vestingbar plays an important role on the campus of the university. The bar is great for graduation receptions, private parties or a cozy BBQ on our terrace. Are you looking for a suitable location for a party for your association or event? Then place a reservation!

SERIOUSLY AMAZING BY STUDENTS

The Vestingbar is a real student bar, because it is completely run by students! Behind the scenes you can find the association “The Feared Cow”, a group of nice and hardworking people. The members of the Vestingbar are the people who serve you a beer, put on that amazing song to dance to, fix you up when you fell down or who are behind the buttons of that amazing lightshow.

But there are more things happening behind the scenes, the organization of big parties, the building of an amazing tent, the creation of delicious cocktails or a First Aid class. And when we are done working, there is time for a game, beer, Christmas dinner or trip. This way you are not only a bartender, but also a member of a student association!
